No accounts, no identity. TAFCast has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. We do not know who you are.
No tracking, no ads. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers in the app. Nothing is sold or shared. The only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to include when sending feedback (below).
Your data stays on your device. Your list of airports, your card order, settings, and all cached weather data (METAR, TAF, wind forecasts, NOTAMs) are stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Network requests. The app fetches weather through the TAFCast backend, which queries public data sources — NOAA / aviationweather.gov (METAR and TAF), Open-Meteo (wind forecasts), IPMA (automatic-station observations used for advisory TAFs), and FAA / Autorouter (NOTAMs). Requests contain only the airport identifiers or coordinates needed to answer them; like any server, ours and theirs may keep standard transient logs (such as IP address) used to operate and protect the service.
Feedback you send. If you use the in-app feedback form, we receive your message, an optional reply-to email if you give one, and basic technical details (app version, Android version, device model and similar) attached to make problems diagnosable. Sent only when you tap Send; used solely to investigate and respond.
Permissions. Internet and network-state access, plus notifications if you enable weather alerts (generated on your device) — no location, no contacts, no storage beyond the app's own cache.
Children. TAFCast is a general-audience aviation utility and is not directed at children.

Acceptance. By installing or using TAFCast you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Not an official source. TAFCast is not an official meteorological or aeronautical information service. It is not certified, approved, or endorsed by any aviation authority, and it must not be used for navigation or as a primary means of flight planning. It is a situational-awareness tool only.
Advisory TAFs. Advisory TAFs are computer-generated estimates for aerodromes without official forecasts. They are illustrative only, may be wrong, and must never be used for flight decisions. Always obtain and verify an official briefing.
Pilot in command. The pilot in command is always solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight, including obtaining official weather, NOTAM, and aeronautical information from certified sources.
No warranty. TAFCast is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the app.
Changes. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
